Do you do custom bagging?

We sell all our products pre-packaged but also do custom bagging, where customers can supply their own bag, or we can assist with the bag design.

Question 2

How can peat-based products enhance my garden or greenhouse?

Accepted Answer

Peat moss allows for proper root growth by loosening and aerating soils, in addition to absorbing and retaining water, aiding in the regulation of the moisture and air around individual plant roots, creating an ideal growing condition.
 
Peat can also help loosen clay soils and add body and nurtirents to sandy soil.

Do you ship or can I pick up my products locally?

All our products are delivered for free within 500km radius ofour facilities, located in Warburg, Alberta. Please contact us to make arrangements for shipments outside of the province or the free delivery zone.

How much do the bags weigh?

Accepted Answer

Peat soil and potting mix is almost pound per litre. So a 35 litre bag is approx 28-32 pounds.
A 35 litre bag of topsoil weighs approx 25-30 pounds.
Compost is a bit heavier and dense. A 35 litre bag is 40 pounds.
35 litre Steer manure is dried and blended finely for easier management. It is 27-30 pounds.

Do your products have an expiry date?

No they do not. Soil amenities have an excellent shelf life!

Question 7

Does steer manure stink?

Accepted Answer

No it doesn’t. It is naturally composted and dried to make the fertilizer odourless even after wetting.

How does delivery work?

Accepted Answer

Delivery is free.
We do ask that if the delivery is more than 500 km from the plant we ask for 5 pallet minimum on the order.
If 5 pallets is not feasible, please email us so we can try to accommodate small orders along the same delivery route as other customers.
For orders out of Province we ask for a minimum of 8 pallets for SK and BC. Other provinces are a minimum of 24 pallets.
For orders in SK/BC exceeding 12 pallets please call or email to discuss delivery schedule and or negotiable B train trucking fees.

Question 9

Do you have a minimum order?

Orders are placed by the pallet. Invidual bags are not available at our facilities, however they can be purchased at individual greenhouses, hardware stores, and grocery stores across the province.

What forms of payment do you accept.
